Should I download my template as a JPG or PDF?

JPGs and PDFs are two of the most popular file formats for saving and printing designs. Let’s take a deeper look at the JPEG and PDF’s specific functions so you can make the right decision about which one will work better for your printing needs.

PDF

PDFs are great when you plan to print at home or at any office supply chain or copy and print center. Corjl PDFs are formatted onto a standard sheet of paper (typically 8.5"x 11" in the US) and ready to print on your home or office printer. Any raster images on the template will automatically download at 300 dpi.

JPG

You’ll likely need to use the JPG format when you’re having your designs printed online or at a professional print shop. The reason for this is mostly due to the bleed and the requirements of the printers. You typically will not want to use JPG when printing at home.
